Prof. Challa Ramakrishna was appointed to Andhra University faculty in 2006 and has been a Professor and Chairman of Board of Studies of Journalism and Mass Communication since 2021. Prof. Ramakrishna teaches primarily in the areas of media laws, international communication, new media and society, public relations and impact studies of media. He has published good number of books, the most recent of which are freedom of the press, applied journalism, spiritual media.
